CLWRota forums

We have established an annual forum at which current users and potential users of the CLWRota system gather to discuss the system, aspects of running anaesthetics rotas and what improvements should be considered for inclusion in the system.

2011 Forum

The 2011 Forum was held in London on the 14th of September at the Wellcome Trust. The focus of this year's event was department productivity and reports.

Two external speakers, Dr Tony Beaumont and Steve Weston, addressed the forum. The CLWRota team discussed department and personnel activity reporting and introduced new features coming the CLWRota in the next year. Attendees included consultants, managers and senior administrators from amongst 30 trusts.

2010 Forum

The 2010 Forum was held at the Wellcome Trust in Central London, with around 55 attendees from 30 departments. The event brought together existing and potential future users of CLWRota to discuss anaesthetics rotas in general and the CLWRota system in particular.

Three external speakers joined the CLWRota team to discuss use cases, upcoming features and other topics such as theatre utilisation, deployment in a large multi-site trust and managing staff resources at a major teaching hospital.

2009 Forum

Around 45 attendees attended the 2009 forum on the 17th of September 2009 at the Design Centre in Central London.

Speakers at the forum focussed on the effectiveness of the system and gave insights about training aspects of the system. The genesis of the system was also discussed, and we also had a theoretical discussion on how services organisations can improve their operations.
